Upon completion of official seminary studies in 1988, Reverend Rose began serving God and the African Methodist Episcopal Church.  For nearly twenty-five years she has presided as senior pastor over the following churches: St. Paul – Harrington, DE; St. Paul – Philadelphia, PA; Mt. Zion – Darby, PA; and Mt. Pisgah – Lawnside, NJ.

At present, Reverend Rose lovingly shepherds the flock at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in York, PA.  Since 2007, she has…

Above all, Reverend Rose is a “prayer warrior” that loves the things of God and the people of God.  She strives to live as a broken, transformed, and imperfect vessel that He can use.

In 1988, Reverend Rose earned a Masters of Divinity degree from The Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.  Following this achievement, she graduated from Philadelphia’s Eastern Baptist Seminary in 2001.

An advent supportor of the local community, Reverend Rose serves on the York County Council of Churches’ Membership Committee; holds office as secretary in the Black Ministers’ Association; and, participates faithfully in the Urban Task Force Ministry and the Pastors’ Summit Committee.

A native of Milford, DE, Reverend Rose is the daughter of the late Oscar V. and Catherine D. (Maiden Name?) Warren.  Surviving her husband — the late John J.
